A Certified Nursing Assistant, widely known as CNA, is a medical officer who works in a medical facility under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) performs different kinds of duties. 8. A CNA is also responsible for assisting patients in a range of motion activities. Patients who can’t help themselves to ambulate or change their position, they are helped by CNA to ambulate or shift positions.
9. CNA must also have a number of other skills. They are expected to have good communication and motivation skills. They are also expected to interact well with the patients and their visiting members.
